Hi Priyanka. I don’t disagree. She didn’t really owe him any sympathy. He was cruel and horrible to her and she gave him more than enough chances . . . way more than he deserved. It’s more that in retrospect, the moment hinted at her streak of enjoyment in the destruction of others, but it was obscured by the fact that it was her abuser who had it coming. That’s where I was trying to go by including the moment in the article. But I don’t agree with people who say she was obligated to feel sorry for her complete ass of a brother.
